Overview
Rosa spp. 'Euphoria' is a compact landscape shrub rose forming a rounded, bushy plant 3-4 feet (90-120 cm) tall and wide. It carries double, ruffled-edged flowers in blends of apricot, pink, and cream, with the tones shifting as the blooms age and with temperature. Flowering repeats from late spring through fall on glossy dark green foliage with strong disease resistance, and the plant is largely self-cleaning, dropping spent petals without deadheading. It is hardy in USDA zones 5-9 and tolerates short dry spells once established. The flowers carry little fragrance, which sets it apart from scented garden roses. As a landscape rose it is grown more for season-long color and low upkeep than for individual exhibition blooms. Like other roses it can attract aphids and Japanese beetles, and bloom thins in shade or in cool, wet conditions. Full sun and free-draining soil give the heaviest flowering.

Grow in full sun, at least six hours daily, in well-drained soil with a pH of 6.0-7.0. Water regularly through the first season to establish the roots, after which the plant tolerates short dry periods. Apply a balanced rose fertilizer in early spring and again after the first flush to sustain bloom. Mulch 2-3 inches (5-7.5 cm) deep to conserve moisture. Although disease resistant, the plant flowers most heavily with good air movement, which also limits black spot in humid climates. Aphids and Japanese beetles can appear during the growing season.Pruning
