A habit epithet describing a plant with a pyramid-shaped form — broader at the base and tapering upward to a point. One of the most recognisable geometric forms in garden design. Appears as pyramidalis (both genders).

From Latin pyramidalis, meaning "pyramid-shaped," from pyramis (pyramid), from Greek pyramis.
