The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) is a scientific and educational organization founded in 1924 devoted to the study and practice of arboriculture. ISA administers the Certified Arborist credential, Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ), and other professional certifications. It publishes the Journal of Arboriculture & Urban Forestry and develops best management practices for tree care.

Acronym: International Society of Arboriculture, from Latin arbor (tree) + cultura (tending)
