Indeterminate

🌱 Growth Habits●● Intermediate

Also known as: vining type

Indeterminate plants never form a terminal flower cluster on the main stem, allowing indefinite vertical growth. Most heirloom tomatoes (Brandywine, Cherokee Purple, Sungold) are indeterminate, producing fruit over several months rather than all at once. They require sturdy support structures and regular pruning of suckers to manage canopy size.
