Gynodioecious
🌸 Flower Parts●●● Advanced
A breeding system in which some individuals of a species bear only female (pistillate) flowers while others bear bisexual (hermaphrodite) flowers, the two kinds growing as separate plants. It is an intermediate step between hermaphroditism and full dioecy, and in grasses such as pampas grass the female plants often carry showier, silkier flower heads than the bisexual ones.
