Corymb

🌸 Flower Parts Basic

A corymb is a flat- or round-topped flower cluster (a type of inflorescence) in which the individual flower stalks arise at different points along the stem but the lower ones are longer, so that all the flowers are held at roughly the same height. The result is a broad, level-topped display. In some plants the units held at the same level are themselves small flower heads rather than single flowers, giving a compound corymb.
