    A floral arrangement epithet for a plant bearing many flowers, built on Greek roots and used where blooms are borne in generous clusters. It is one of several Latinised words for many-flowered and gives its name to the cluster-flowered polyantha roses. Appears as polyanthus (masculine), polyantha (feminine), or polyanthum (neuter).
