    🏷️ Taxonomy●● Intermediate

A plant's genotype is its DNA blueprint—the inherited instructions for growth habit, disease resistance, flavor chemistry, and stress tolerance. Two plants with identical genotypes grown in different environments (e.g., Zone 4 vs. Zone 9) may express very different phenotypes. Modern agriculture exploits Genotype × Environment (GxE) interactions to match varieties to specific growing conditions.
